With a mission to create a creative ecosystem within the Diamond State, the Delaware Collective for Creative Economy aims to maximize the benefits of for-profit arts work to showcase the First State as the creative industry asset it is.

OVERVIEW

Members of the Delaware Collective for Creative Economy were in a unique situation. With the ultimate goal of creating a lucrative, sustainable film hub in Delaware, they also recognized the long-lasting positive outcomes of developing a greater creative economy—inclusive of all creative industries—and needed a strong visual identity system to unify and bring awareness to their group.

We built out a full branding suite, marketing collateral set, merch design collection, and complementary social media assets as bold and ambitious as their organization’s goals.

For the Delaware Collective for Creative Economic aesthetic, we adopted a bright and playful palette of colors that’s rooted in Delaware’s state colors of colonial blue and buff. The interlocking elements of the logo’s design further underscores the collective’s message of uniting the many members, mediums, and industries that make up the creative economy of Delaware, while its simple makeup gives it the flexibility it needs to be implemented in a variety of digital and print applications.
